Privacy policy
How we handle enquiries, technical data and optional Google Analytics.

Who is responsible
Kostyantyn Murashkin operates Bulk Material Calc as a private individual based in Ukraine. Contact: contact@bulkmaterialcalc.com.
Calculators and preferences
Calculations run in your browser. Dimensions, density and prices are not automatically sent to our server or included in our analytics events. An explicitly selected currency is saved for the browser session. Your analytics choice is saved on your device for 180 days, across languages. These preferences are not used for advertising.
Contact form and security
We process your email, message, optional name, selected calculator and interface language to respond to your enquiry. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. Your IP address and browser information are processed for spam prevention; short-lived hashes and limits are held in memory. Technical and mail-delivery logs can contain connection or delivery metadata.
Purposes and legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, responding to enquiries and protecting the service rely on our legitimate interests. Optional analytics relies on your consent. Reporting an error does not subscribe you to marketing.
Providers and international processing
Our OVHcloud server is in Canada. Form messages are delivered using our own mail server, Porkbun forwarding and the operator’s Gmail mailbox. These providers process data as needed to operate their services; processing can occur outside your country. Google processes analytics data after consent, including in countries such as the United States.
Google Analytics and your choice
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you accept analytics. It can process cookie identifiers, page visits, browser/device information and approximate location. We strip query strings and fragments from page URLs and send only the origin of the referring site. We do not send form fields or calculator input values. Advertising consent is denied and Google Signals is disabled in our tag configuration. Rejecting analytics prevents the Google tag from loading. Use “Analytics settings” in the footer to withdraw consent; this stops future tracking and removes our analytics cookies. Earlier processing is not reversed. Google’s privacy policy.
Retention
We retain enquiry correspondence for up to six months after the enquiry is closed, unless a longer period is necessary for a legal obligation or dispute. Mailbox deletion is manual. Temporary anti-spam records expire within their operational windows; technical logs and mail queues follow their operational rotation and delivery requirements. The consent choice and our analytics cookies expire after 180 days. Google’s user/event retention depends on the property setting; aggregated reports can remain longer.
Your requests and rights
Email us to request access, correction or deletion, or to object to processing. Where applicable law provides them, you may also request restriction or portability and complain to the competent data-protection authority. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the footer. We may need enough information to verify a request without collecting unnecessary data.
